Some of our CS servers were down for 10 hours today due to a Linux kernel panic. I was alerted by our automated monitoring system via a text message at 6:46am CDT. Unfortunately I had to go to work and totally forgot about the issue until later in the day.

The servers have been back up since 3:30 CDT. Our player traffic should be recovering by now, and hopefully everything will stay stable. We will be reviewing our procedures for emergency situations like these soon and hopefully this will never happen again.
